Profile of Alexander Vinogradov (Bass)
Александр Виноградов (бас)

Born in Moscow in 1976.
At the age of 7 he started to learn piano, then clarinet.
In 1994, he enrolled for physics and mathematics at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
In 1995, he accepted an offer to study singing at the Moscow State Conservatory.
In 1998, he made his debut as Oroveso (Norma) at the Bolshoi Theatre at the age of 21,while at in student.
In 1999, he entered the 2nd Shizuoka International Opera Competition in Japan.

He was a member of the Bolshoi Theatre until he graduated from the the Moscow State Conservatory.
From 2001 until 2003, he was a member of the Staatsoper Berlin, Germany.

In 2003, he entered the “Operalia”.

Now he is basing his performs on Staatsoper Berlin, and he is also widing his stages in otherplace of Europe, United States, and Japan.
As well as he sings variety of opera roles, he is the nice recitalist, solist of concerts.
In July 2011, he sang as Bass solist Mozart’s Coronation Mass @ Royal Wedding in Monaco.
